I came across this ad from 1969 for a restaurant chain called Gino’s Hamburgers. The fast food chain was founded in 1957 by Baltimore Colts defensive end Gino Marchetti and running back Alan Ameche.

Gino’s Hamburgers did really well on the east coast and at one point had almost 400 locations before it was bought by the Marriott Corporation in the 1980’s. You can still find the restaurant chains scattered around Maryland.
