Streetcars in Towson Back in 1963

This great old photo shows the old streetcars of Baltimore running through Towson back in October of 1963. A short one month later, President Kennedy would be assassinated in Dallas.

In October of 1963 Number 8 street cars still were a familiar sight in Towson. But soon they would be replaced by buses. (Robert F. Kniesche/Baltimore Sun)
