Of course it is. The old French Consulate in Baltimore was at Charles and Centre St. in the 1920s. There’s no longer a French Consulate in the city. In fact, there are a total of zero foreign consulates today. There are, however, three honorary ones (Italy, Finland, and Belgium).

Take a look at the building today on Google Street View. Quite amazing to see the similarities (and differences).

You can also see a cool old photo of the then-new French Embassy on 16th St. in Washington thanks to Ghosts of DC. It’s quite a beautiful building, which still stands today.
